Last year saw a strong performance by Stackpole at the Service Industry Advertising (SIA) Awards competition and this year was no different. Stackpole’s work for Delaware’s Taylor Bank was honored for its rebranding campaign, winning the following awards and more:
Taylor Bank is known in and around the Delmarva peninsula for its esteemed 125-year history delivering innovative banking solutions to its residents. Stackpole created and launched a new brand identity that simultaneously spoke to the past and future commitment of this well-known and renowned institution, beginning with a familiar, yet refreshed and modernized new logo and tagline: “Always Here. For Good.”
But before the new identity could convey this message to the community, Stackpole needed to create awareness and wanted to do so in a way that would simultaneously reflect the relationship Taylor Bank has with its customers and include the community as active participants in the new launch. What better way to do so than to cut the Taylor Bank logo into a 5-Acre corn maze, and to invite the community to a special family day event?
Through an integrated campaign that included TV, radio, outdoor, digital and PR, Stackpole invited the media and the public to experience and participate in the new branding and special kickoff festivities. Since 2003, the SIA Awards have been recognizing advertising excellence in the service industry. This year more than 600 agencies representing over 825 institutions participated, with judges awarding 136 Gold, 86 Silver and 60 Bronze Awards for execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal, and overall breakthrough advertising content.
